GfG Leak Detector G300

Even from small leakages large amounts of gas can escape. Regular checks and fast discovery of weak points in tubing prevent unnecessary gas loss and the building up of dangerous gas concentrations in the atmosphere. The leak detector G 300 is the specialist for accurate detection of gas leakages and dangerous gas concentrations.  

The leak detector G300 finds smallest leakages on gas tubes and systems. It reacts on minimum concentrations (2 to 5 ppm) of combustible gases (e.g. methane, natural gas - G 300 II) or toxic gases and vapors (e.g. ammonia). Different tone intervals indicate if the detector is getting nearer or getting away from a leakage. A bar graph continuously shows the gas concentration. In less than 3 seconds the detector reacts on explosive or toxic gases and vapors. The leak detector consists of a basic detector and a long life chemosorption sensor. The accessories consist of a 30 cm flexible gooseneck and a 1 m flexible helix cable, which allows for measurement even in areas that are difficult to reach. The detector is operated with only one button, which even allows for resetting the acoustic display to zero to restart the detection range even in gas-enriched air. The built-in accumulator allows for an operation time of more than 8 hours. Everywhere, where an installation needs to be rapidly checked for tightness after putting into work or during operation, this lightweight detector can be used. It is more sensitive and is easier to handle than common sprays for leak detection.
